Monique McRae is the owner and principal designer at Maison McRae Interiors, bringing a wealth of styling and design experience to each project. A certified home stager, with training from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Interior Design Fundamentals program, Monique skillfully merges timeless design principles with a diverse aesthetic of carefully interwoven colours, textures, and influences from various eras. Her designs are not only creative and stylish, they are relatable and practical so that the flow of your home feels as good as it looks. After years of bringing characters to life through costuming for film and television, she's thrilled to take her creativity, eye for detail and passion for visual storytelling into the realm of interiors. With an extensive knowledge of fabrics, historical periods, contemporary styles and colour theory, her background in crafting unique, innovative figures on screen translates seamlessly into designing homes that become beautiful, alluring spaces.
